2004 Oldsmobile Bravada RWDSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove wiper module. Refer to WIPER MOTOR MODULE REPLACEMENT .
  2. Remove the upper strut mounting nuts.

    Important:  Lift the vehicle using ONLY a frame-contact vehicle lift. Do NOT lift the vehicle using a suspension-contact vehicle lift.

  3. Raise and support the vehicle.
  4. Remove the tire and wheel.
  5. Scribe the strut to the steering knuckle.

  6. Remove the strut lower mounting bolts and nuts.
  7. Remove the strut.
