- Install the hood to the vehicle, with an assistant.
- Align the hood hinges to the alignment marks on the hood.
- Install the bolts to the upper hood hinge, with an assistant.
Tighten
Tighten the upper hood hinge bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
- Install the hood assist rods. Refer to ASSIST ROD REPLACEMENT - HOOD .
- Adjust the hood as required. Refer to HOOD ADJUSTMENT .
