Installation Procedure
2004 Oldsmobile Bravada RWDSECTION Installation Procedure

- Tie the wire or string to the hood release cable.
- Install the hood release cable to the vehicle.
- Pull the hood release cable through the dash until the grommet is seated in the hole.
- Install the grommet into the dash using a small flat bladed tool.
- Install the hood release cable retainers to the engine compartment side rail.
- Install the hood release cable retainers to the upper tie bar.
- Connect the hood release cable to the hood latch.
Refer to HOOD LATCH REPLACEMENT .
- Install the hood release cable to the hood release handle. Refer to HOOD LATCH RELEASE HANDLE REPLACEMENT .
- Pull the carpet back.
- Remove the block from the hood latch.
- Install the air cleaner assembly.
- Install the diagonal brace. Refer to BRACE REPLACEMENT - FRONT FENDER UPPER DIAGONAL - LEFT .
- Test the hood release cable for proper operation before closing the hood.
- Close the hood.
