Circuit Description
Battery positive voltage is supplied directly to the Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL). The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) turns ON the MIL by grounding MIL control circuit. There should be a steady MIL with the ignition ON and engine OFF. MIL is located on instrument panel.

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:
