2004 Oldsmobile Bravada RWDSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the hood to the vehicle with an assistant.
    CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the hood hinge bolts to the upper hood hinges (1).

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 17 N.m (13 lb ft).

  3. Install the sound insulator (2) to the hood.
  4. Install the sound insulator retainers (3) to the hood.
  5. Remove protective covering from the body panels.
  6. Adjust the hood. Refer to Hood Adjustment .
