- Install the hood to the vehicle with an assistant.CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
- Install the hood hinge bolts to the upper hood hinges (1).
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 17 N.m (13 lb ft).
- Install the sound insulator (2) to the hood.
- Install the sound insulator retainers (3) to the hood.
- Remove protective covering from the body panels.
- Adjust the hood. Refer to Hood Adjustment .
