- Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to LIFTING AND JACKING THE VEHICLE in General Information.
- Remove intermediate pipe to muffler nuts.
- Disconnect the exhaust muffler rear hanger insulators from the exhaust muffler.
- Remove the exhaust muffler.
