- Install ground cable.
- Install nut to retain ground cable to bellhousing stud.
- Install front transmission mount. Refer to TRANSAXLE MOUNT ASSEMBLY (FRONT) in Automatic Transmission.
- Install lower closeout panel.
- Lower vehicle.
- Install negative cable to retainers.
- Tape positive cable and ground strap to negative cable.
- Install bolt to retain ground cable to core support.
- Connect negative ground cable (2). Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure .
