2004 Oldsmobile Bravada RWDSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Position the cable (1) to the vehicle.

  2. Route the cable (1) from the cabin into the engine compartment.
  3. Install the cable grommet into the front of dash.
  4. Install the cable handle (3) to the hinge pillar.
  5. Install the screws to the hood release handle (3) to the pillar.
  6. Install the left side hinge pillar trim panel to the body. Refer to TRIM REPLACEMENT - HINGE PILLAR .
  7. Install the cable (1) to the retainer on the radiator support.
  8. Install the cable (1) to the hood latch.
  9. Close the hood.
  10. Inspect the hood release cable for proper operation.
