Shift Control Cable: Removal

- Remove the cable (4) at the transaxle (2) shift control assembly (3). See Figure.
- Remove the cable at the transaxle cable bracket. See Figure.
- Remove the center console. See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION in appropriate SHIFT INTERLOCK SYSTEMS article in AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS.
- Remove the cable at the shift control assembly. See Figure.
- Remove the cable grommet at the cowl. Remove the cable from the vehicle.
