Shift Control Cable: Removal

2004 Oldsmobile Bravada RWDSECTION Removal

  1. Remove the cable (4) at the transaxle (2) shift control assembly (3). See Figure.
  2. Remove the cable at the transaxle cable bracket. See Figure.
  3. Remove the center console. See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION in appropriate SHIFT INTERLOCK SYSTEMS article in AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS.
  4. Remove the cable at the shift control assembly. See Figure.
  5. Remove the cable grommet at the cowl. Remove the cable from the vehicle.
