2004 Oldsmobile Bravada RWDSECTION Removal Procedure

CAUTION:
Refer to SIR HANDLING CAUTION
in Cautions and Notices.
- Disable the SIR system. Refer to DISABLING SYSTEM in SIR.
- Remove the front seat. Refer to Seat Replacement - Bucket .
- Partially remove the seat back cover and pad in order to gain access to the power recliner motor and power recliner sensor. Refer to Seat Back Cover And Pad Replacement - Front
.CAUTION: Refer to ELECTRICAL WIRING ROUTING NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
- Disconnect the electrical connector on the power recliner sensor (5).
- Remove the push-on nut (6) on the end of the recliner rod (2).
- Slide the recliner rod (2) out of the seat back recliner and the power recliner motor (4) far enough to clear the sensor (5).
- Remove the power recliner position sensor (5) from the motor (4).
