Installation Procedure

2004 Oldsmobile Bravada RWDSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the hood release cable (1) to the hood latch (2).

  2. Install the hood latch (2).
    CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  3. Install the bolts (1) in order to retain the hood latch.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 in lbs).

  4. Adjust the hood primary latch (2). Refer to Hood Latch Adjustment  .
