Important: Ensure that the engine cover sealing strip is properly seated between the engine cover and the vehicle.
- Install the engine cover to the vehicle.
- Install the engine cover retaining straps.
- Install the passenger seat to the vehicle in 6.5L and the 8.1L Diesel engines. Refer to SEAT REPLACEMENT - BUCKET (ALL EXCEPT LUXURY) or SEAT REPLACEMENT - BUCKET (LUXURY Y91) .
- Install the instrument panel lower extension. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) EXTENSION REPLACEMENT .
