The purpose of this test is to satisfy the enable criteria necessary to execute Inspection/Maintenance (I/M) readiness diagnostics for the catalyst system. Test may be used to set I/M system status indicators to YES. Ensure vehicle meets conditions listed in enable criteria before performing procedure. Failure to meet any of the conditions listed may produce inaccurate test results.
