  • DTCs P0121, P0122, or P0123 are not set.
  • The engine is running.
  • The engine speed is between 1000-4000 RPM.
  • Any change in the IAC position is less than 15 counts.
  • The engine speed variation is no more than 125 RPM.
  • The traction control is not active.
  • The change in Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) position is less than 10 percent.
  • The A/C request state does not change.
  • The engine over-temp protection is not active.
  • The change in the throttle position is less than 4 percent.
  • The Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) state does not change.
  • The power steering load is stable.
  • The brake pedal position switch state does not change.
  • The above conditions are met for 3 seconds.
