- DTCs P0121, P0122, or P0123 are not set.
- The engine is running.
- The engine speed is 1000-4000 RPM.
- Any change in the Idle Air Control (IAC) position is less than 15 counts.
- The change in engine speed is less than 125 RPM.
- Traction control is not active.
- The change in Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) position is less than 10 percent.
- The A/C compressor clutch is steady.
- The engine overtemp protection is not active.
- The change in the Throttle Position (TP) is less than 4 percent.
- The Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) state does not change.
- The power steering is stable.
- The brake switch state does not change.
- The conditions are met for 3 seconds.
