Accelerator Controls Cable: Removal

Remove the engine cover. See ENGINE COVER  . Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. See AIR CLEANER OUTLET DUCT  under AIR INDUCTION SYSTEMS. Remove the accelerator cable from the throttle lever. See Figure . Remove the accelerator cable from the engine cable bracket. Remove the accelerator cable from the accelerator pedal. See Figure . Remove the accelerator cable assembly from the bulkhead.
