2004 Oldsmobile Bravada RWDSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Lubricate the CKP sensor O-ring with clean engine oil.
  2. Remove the CKP sensor.
  3. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  4. Remove the CKP sensor stud.

    Tighten:  Tighten the stud to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  6. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (4) to the CKP sensor (3).

  8. Install the engine wiring harness heat shield (2).
  9. Install the engine wiring harness heat shield bolts (1 and 4).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  10. Install the engine wiring harness heat shield nut (3).

    Tighten:  Tighten the nut to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  11. Install the right catalytic converter. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement - Right Side (LZ4) .
  12. Perform the CKP system variation learn procedure. Refer to Crankshaft Position System Variation Learn .
