WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 10 other vehicles, including the 1996 Chevrolet Corvette, 1995 Chevrolet Corvette, 1994 Chevrolet Corvette, 1993 Chevrolet Corvette, and 1992 Chevrolet Corvette. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

When a tire pressure falls below 25 psi (172 kPa) after the vehicle has been driven about 30 seconds over 25 mph (40 km/h), a pressure switch within the sensor is activated. An electronic signal is transmitted to the receiver/control module, which will illuminate the LOW TIRE PRESSURE warning light and store a diagnostic code for that ignition cycle.

When the LOW TIRE PRESSURE warning light illuminates, adjust tires to the specified pressure. This warning light will remain illuminated until ignition is turned off, even if tires are inflated while vehicle is running.

NOTE: If SERVICE LTPWS warning light illuminates, there is a problem in the TPM system. See appropriate manufacturer service information.
