2004 Oldsmobile Bravada RWDSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Clean the sealing surface of the BPMV, with denatured alcohol and a clean shop cloth.
  2. Install the EBCM to the BPMV.
  3. NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Install the EBCM-to-BPMV attaching screws. Tighten the bolts in a cross pattern.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 3 N.m (27 lb in).

  5. Connect the pump motor electrical connector.

  7. Connect the electrical connector to the EBCM.

  9. Reposition the TCM, if equipped, to the mounting bracket.
  10. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position. DO NOT start engine.
  11. Perform the Diagnostic System Check - ABS .
