Scan Tool Data Definitions
Auto Learn Mode Active: The scan tool displays Yes or No. Yes indicates the Tire Pressure Monitor (TPM) system is learning the tire pressure calibrations for the speed range the vehicle is in. No indicates the TPM system has learned the tire pressure calibrations for the speed range the vehicle is in.
Left Front Wheel Speed: The scan tool displays 0-255 km/h (0-159 mph). The actual speed of the left front wheel.
Left Rear Wheel Speed: The scan tool displays 0-255 km/h (0-159 mph). The actual speed of the left rear wheel.
Low Tire Pressure: The scan tool displays Yes or No. Yes indicates the TPM system has detected a tire pressure condition and tire pressures should be inspected. No indicates the tire pressures are within specifications.
Monitor Mode 1: The scan tool displays Active or Inactive. Active indicates the TPM system is beginning to learn the initial half of the calibration process and has no tire pressure detection capability for the speed range the vehicle is in. Inactive indicates the TPM system has partially completed the calibration process and has limited tire pressure detection capability for the speed range the vehicle is in.
Monitor Mode 2: The scan tool displays Active or Inactive. Active indicates the TPM system has completed the calibration process and has full tire pressure detection capability for the speed range the vehicle is in. Inactive indicates the TPM system has only partially learned the final half of the tire pressure calibrations and has limited tire pressure detection capability for the speed range the vehicle is in.
Right Front Wheel Speed: The scan tool displays 0-255 km/h (0-159 mph). The actual speed of the right front wheel.
Right Rear Wheel Speed: The scan tool displays 0-255 km/h (0-159 mph). The actual speed of the right rear wheel.
TIM Reset Switch: The scan tool displays Pressed or Released. Pressed indicates the Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) has received a class 2 message to clear the tire pressure calibrations and turn off the LOW TIRE indicator, or the LOW TIRE PRESSURE message center message.
