Installation Procedure
2004 Oldsmobile Bravada RWDSECTION Installation Procedure

- Position the hood to the vehicle with an assistant.NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
- Partially install the 4 bolts (2) that retain the hood to the hinges (3).
- Position the hood to the hinges at the previously marked locations with an assistant.
Tighten
Tighten the hood retaining bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
- Install the hood insulation to the hood.
- Install the push-pin retainers (2).
- Install the underhood lamp wiring harness to the hood and hinge as previously routed.
- Install the underhood lamp to the hood by seating the retaining tabs.
- Connect the electrical connector (1) to the underhood lamp.
- Install the ground terminal retaining bolt (1) to the hood.
Tighten
Tighten the hood ground terminal bolt to 10 N.m (7 lb ft).
- Install the front hood molding. Refer to MOLDING REPLACEMENT - HOOD FRONT in Exterior Trim.
