Installation Procedure
2004 Oldsmobile Bravada RWDSECTION Installation Procedure

- Connect the hood latch cable to the latch.
- Position the latch to the previously marked location on the mounting bracket.NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
- Install the bolts which retain the latch to the mounting bracket.
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb ft).
- Inspect the latch for proper operation before closing the hood.
- Check the alignment of the latch to the hood striker. Adjust the latch if necessary. Refer to HOOD LATCH ADJUSTMENT .
- Install the grille. Refer to GRILLE REPLACEMENT (GMC) or GRILLE REPLACEMENT (OLDSMOBILE) or GRILLE REPLACEMENT (CHEVROLET) in Exterior Trim.
