Removal Procedure
2004 Oldsmobile Bravada RWDSECTION Removal Procedure

- Disable the SIR. Refer to DISABLING SYSTEM in SIR.
- Remove the rear seat cushions. Refer to SEAT CUSHION REPLACEMENT -- REAR in Seats.
- Remove the communication interface module. Refer to COMMUNICATION INTERFACE MODULE REPLACEMENT in Cellular Communication.
- Remove the navigation control processor bracket. Refer to NAVIGATION CONTROL PROCESSOR BRACKET REPLACEMENT in Cellular Communication.
- Remove the seat back, left and right side. Refer to SEAT BACK REPLACEMENT -- REAR in Seats.
- Remove the front bucket seats. Refer to SEAT REPLACEMENT - FRONT BUCKET in Seats.
- Remove the front door sill plates. Refer to DOOR SILL PLATE REPLACEMENT-Front .
- Remove the rear door sill plates. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement - Rear (TrailBlazer, Envoy, Bravada) or Door Sill Plate Replacement - Rear (TrailBlazer EXT, Envoy XL) ..
- Remove the center pillar trim panels. Refer to GARNISH MOLDING REPLACEMENT-Center Pillar .
- Remove the lower rear quarter trim panels. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter - Left (TrailBlazer, Envoy, Bravada) or Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter - Left (TrailBlazer EXT, Envoy XL) , or to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT-REAR QUARTER-Right .
- Remove the tool kit carrier.
- Remove the bussed electrical center junction block from the bussed electrical center base, and the bussed electrical center base from the floor panel studs. Refer to REAR ELECTRICAL CENTER REPLACEMENT in Wiring Systems.
- Remove the child restraint tether anchors. Refer to CHILD RESTRAINT TETHER ANCHOR REPLACEMENT - REAR 1(TRAILBLAZER, ENVOY, BRAVADA) or CHILD RESTRAINT TETHER ANCHOR REPLACEMENT - REAR 1(TRAILBLAZER EXT, ENVOY XL) in Seat Belts.
- Remove the bussed electrical center base and communication interface module electrical connectors through the pass through holes in the carpet.
- Remove the rear retaining screws that attach the floor console to the floor console carrier. Refer to CONSOLE REPLACEMENT in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
- Remove the carpet from the vehicle.
