Installation Procedure
2004 Oldsmobile Bravada RWDSECTION Installation Procedure

- Install the rear-axle assembly to the vehicle.
- Connect the upper control arm to the rear axle. Refer to Rear Axle Upper Control Arm Replacement in Rear Suspension.
- Connect the lower control arm to the rear axle. Refer to Rear Axle Lower Control Arm Replacement in Rear Suspension.
- Connect the rear axle tie rod to the rear axle. Refer to Rear Axle Tie Rod Replacement in Rear Suspension.
- Install the coil springs. Refer to Coil Spring Replacement in Rear Suspension.
- Install the stabilizer shaft to the rear axle. Refer to Stabilizer Shaft Replacement in Rear Suspension.
- Install the caliper assemblies to the rear axle. Refer to Brake Caliper Replacement - Front in Disc Brakes.
- Connect the right rear cable of the park brake to the rear axle. Refer to Park Brake Cable Replacement in Park Brake.
- Connect the left rear cable of the park brake to the rear axle. Refer to Park Brake Cable Replacement in Park Brake.
- Install the propeller. Refer to PROPELLER SHAFT REPLACEMENT - FRONT in Propeller Shaft.
- Connect the rear axle vent tube.
- Install the rear tires and the rear wheels. Refer to TIRE AND WHEEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION in Tires and Wheels.
- Fill the axle with lubricant. Use the proper fluid. Refer to Capacities - Approximate Fluid and to Fluid and Lubricant Recommendations in Maintenance and Lubrication.
- Remove the safety stands.
- Lower the vehicle.
