2004 Oldsmobile Bravada RWDSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install a new throttle body gasket (1).
  2. Install the throttle body (2) onto the intake manifold with the 2 bolts (5).
  3. Install the accelerator cable bracket (4) and the 2 nuts (3) to the throttle body.
  4. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  5. Tighten the 4 throttle body fasteners.

    Tighten:  Tighten the fasteners to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).

  7. Connect the 2 coolant hoses (3) to the throttle body.
  8. Connect the PCV breather hose (6) to the throttle body (1).
  9. Connect the IAC valve electrical connector (5).
  10. Connect the TP sensor electrical connector (4).
  11. Install the air inlet duct (2).
  12. Refill the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System in Engine Cooling.

  14. Install the engine cover (1) to the engine.
  15. Secure the engine cover (1) with the 4 fasteners.

    Tighten:  Tighten the fasteners to 7 N.m (62 lb in).
