2004 Oldsmobile Bravada RWDSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the Input shaft seal to input shaft.
  2. Install the following to the torque converter:
    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
    1. Install the torque converter seal to transmission.
    2. Install the converter seal bolts to transmission.

      Tighten:  Tighten the torque converter seals bolts to 3 N.m (26 lb in).

  3. Install the torque converter (1) to the transmission. Push the torque converter into position while rotating. The torque converter must be fully seated.
  4. Install the transmission. Refer to Transaxle Replacement .
