2004 Oldsmobile Bravada RWDSECTION Installation Procedure

Important:  Before installing the hood, be sure to apply anti-corrosion treatment to the hood and hood hinge mating surfaces.

  1. Install the hood (1) with the aid of a helper to the hood hinges (3), aligning the mating marks. Secure the hood with 2 mounting bolts at each hinge. Do not tighten fully.

  2. Install the windshield washer nozzles (2) and supply hose (1) to the hood (3).

  3. Reposition the hood insulator (1) and secure with the 2 plastic retainers (3).

  4. Remove the protective covers from the front fenders (2).
  5. Adjust the hood if necessary. Refer to HOOD ADJUSTMENT  .
