- Remove the instrument panel compartment door. Refer to COMPARTMENT REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P)
in Instrument Panel Gauges and Console.CAUTION: Refer to BATTERY DISCONNECT CAUTION .
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Disconnect the electrical connector (4) from theft deterrent module (3).
- Remove the screw (2) from the theft deterrent module bracket (1).
- Remove the theft deterrent module (3) with bracket (1) from the vehicle.
- Remove the theft deterrent module (3) from bracket (1), if necessary.
