Installation Procedure

2004 Oldsmobile Bravada RWDSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Position the stabilizer shaft on the crossmember.

  2. Install the 2 stabilizer shaft insulators to the stabilizer shaft.
  3. Install the 2 clamps and the 4 bolts to the insulators.
  4. Install the crossmember to the vehicle. Refer to FRONT SUSPENSION CROSSMEMBER REPLACEMENT (FWD)  or FRONT SUSPENSION CROSSMEMBER REPLACEMENT (AWD)  .
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  5. Tighten the 4 bolts to the clamps.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 19 N.m (14.0 lb ft).

  6. Install the stabilizer shaft links and the nuts (1,2) to the stabilizer shaft and to the strut brackets.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the nuts to 74 N.m (54.6 lb ft).
