2004 Oldsmobile Bravada RWDSECTION Installation Procedure

NOTE: When adding fluid or making a complete fluid change, always use the proper power steering fluid. Failure to use the proper fluid will cause hose and seal damage and fluid leaks.
  1. Apply fluid to the sealing portion of the PSP switch.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the PSP switch to the pump.

    1. Tighten 
    2. Tighten the PSP switch to 21 N.m (15.5 lb ft).

    Important:  Verify the connectors are clean.

  3. Connect the PSP switch connector (3).
  4. Install the right front tire and wheel assembly. Refer to TIRE AND WHEEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION in Tires and Wheels.
  5. Install the right front engine splash shield. Refer to SPLASH SHIELD REPLACEMENT - ENGINE - RIGHT in Body Front End.
  6. Lower the vehicle.
