Installation Procedure

2004 Oldsmobile Bravada RWDSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the fender to the vehicle.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the bolts to the fender at the front compartment side rail.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the fender to front compartment side rail bolts to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

  3. Install the bolts to the fender at the rocker panel.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the fender to rocker panel bolts to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

  4. Install the bolts to the fender at the door hinge pillar.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the fender to door hinge pillar bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  5. Install the bolts to the fender at the lower engine compartment side rail.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the fender to engine compartment side rail bolts to 8 N.m (70 lb in).

  6. Install the washer solvent container to the right fender. Refer to WASHER SOLVENT CONTAINER REPLACEMENT .
  7. Install the front fender liner. Refer to Front Fender Liner Replacement .
  8. Install the hood hinge. Refer to Hood Hinge Replacement .
  9. Install the hood. Refer to Hood Replacement .
  10. Install the rocker finish panel. Refer to MOLDING REPLACEMENT -- ROCKER PANEL .
  11. Remove the protective tape.
