Fuel Injectors: Installation
2004 Oldsmobile Bravada RWDSECTION Installation

- Coat NEW fuel injector "O" rings with clean engine oil. See Figure. Install fuel injectors into fuel rail with electrical connector facing outward. Ensure injectors rotate smoothly and freely. If "O" rings are installed incorrectly, injectors will bind. Install fuel injector retaining clip(s).
- Install fuel rail into cylinder head. Tighten fuel rail retaining bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Reconnect fuel pressure regulator vacuum line. Reconnect fuel feed and return lines at fuel rail. See FUEL LINE DISCONNECT FITTINGS .
- Reconnect fuel injector harness in-line connector. Install intake manifold. See INTAKE MANIFOLD . To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
- Turn ignition switch to ON position for 2 seconds. Turn ignition switch to OFF position for 10 seconds. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Check for fuel leaks. Repair as necessary.
