- Remove the screw located by the windshield.
- Insert a flat-bladed tool to the rear of the off/on switches and detach the console lamp assembly.
- Disconnect the lamp electric connector.
- Open the storage compartments.
- Remove the overhead console screws.
- Remove the overhead console housing.
- Remove the backing plate.
