2004 Oldsmobile Bravada RWDSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Position the hood latch support to the upper and lower tie bar.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the to the hood latch support to upper tie bar bolts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the hood latch support upper tie bar bolts to 25 N.m (18 lbft).

  3. Install the hood latch support to lower tie bar nut.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the hood latch support to lower tie bar nut to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  4. Install the hood latch to the hood latch support. Refer to HOOD LATCH REPLACEMENT  .
  5. Install the front bumper fascia upper support to the hood latch support. Refer to FASCIA SUPPORT REPLACEMENT - FRONT BUMPER UPPER in Bumpers.
