- Position the hood latch support to the upper and lower tie bar.NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
- Install the to the hood latch support to upper tie bar bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the hood latch support upper tie bar bolts to 25 N.m (18 lbft).
- Install the hood latch support to lower tie bar nut.
Tighten
Tighten the hood latch support to lower tie bar nut to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
- Install the hood latch to the hood latch support. Refer to HOOD LATCH REPLACEMENT .
- Install the front bumper fascia upper support to the hood latch support. Refer to FASCIA SUPPORT REPLACEMENT - FRONT BUMPER UPPER in Bumpers.
