- Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
- Remove the passenger seat. Refer to SEAT REPLACEMENT (POWER) or SEAT REPLACEMENT (MANUAL) in Seats.
- Disconnect the lateral accelerometer connector.
- Remove the two lateral accelerometer nuts (1).
- Remove the lateral accelerometer (2).
