2004 Oldsmobile Bravada RWDSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove wiper module. Refer to Wiper Motor Module Replacement
  2. Fig 1: Identifying Upper Strut Mounting Nuts

  3. Remove the upper strut mounting nuts.
  4. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  5. Remove the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  6. Fig 2: Scribing Strut To Knuckle

  7. Scribe the strut to the steering knuckle.

  9. Remove the strut lower mounting bolts and nuts.
  10. Remove the strut.
