2004 Oldsmobile Bravada RWDSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the driver side air bag (3) to the seat while guiding the air bag wiring harness (2) through the trim cup.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the air bag fasteners (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the fasteners (1) to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  4. Gently pull the air bag wiring harness (2) down into the seat cushion while guiding the harness through the wire triangle of the seat frame.
  5. Install the harness retaining clips to the seat frame.
  6. Install the seat back cover. Refer to Seat Back Cover Replacement - Front in Seats.
  7. Connect together the J-clip that is along the lower rear seat back.
  8. Install the driver seat. Refer to Seat Replacement - Bucket in Seats.
  9. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 7 .
