- Position the liftgate struts to the liftgate.
- Install the upper end of the liftgate struts to the ball joint. Press in to place until fully seated.
- Install the lower end of the liftgate struts to the ball joint. Press in to place until fully seated.
- Remove the support from the liftgate.
- Close the liftgate.
