2004 Oldsmobile Bravada AWDSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Lower the spare tire.
  2. Remove the rear tail lamp assemblies. Refer to TAIL LAMP ASSEMBLY AND/OR BACKUP, SIDEMARKER, STOP, TURN SIGNAL BULB REPLACEMENT (PICKUP) or TAIL LAMP ASSEMBLY AND/OR BACKUP, SIDEMARKER, STOP, TURN SIGNAL BULB REPLACEMENT (UTILITY) in Lighting Systems.
  3. Remove the bolts that retain the frame to the pickup box.
  4. Remove the wiring harness ground wire from the frame.

  5. Remove the license plate lamp. Refer to LICENSE LAMP REPLACEMENT (W/ STEP BUMPER) or LICENSE LAMP REPLACEMENT (W/O STEP BUMPER) or LICENSE LAMP REPLACEMENT (FILLER PANEL) .
  6. Remove the ground wire that retains the fuel filler neck to the pickup box.
  7. Remove the screws that retain the fuel filler neck to the pickup box.
  8. With an assistant, remove the pickup box from the vehicle.
