2004 Oldsmobile Bravada AWDSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the liftgate window. Refer to WINDOW REPLACEMENT - LIFT GATE .
  2. Open the liftgate.
  3. Support the liftgate.
  4. Remove the roof rear header garnish molding. Refer to GARNISH MOLDING REPLACEMENT -- REAR UPPER in Interior Trim.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connectors, as needed.
  6. Disconnect the liftgate window washer fluid hose.
  7. Remove the liftgate struts. Refer to STRUT REPLACEMENT - LIFT GATE .
  8. Remove the clips that retain the liftgate to the hinges.
  9. With an assistant, slide the liftgate to the right in order to remove the liftgate from the vehicle.
