- Remove the instrument panel accessory trim plate. Refer to TRIM PLATE REPLACEMENT -- INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) ACCESSORY in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
- Remove the HVAC control assembly retaining screws.
- Depress the HVAC control assembly retaining tabs and remove the HVAC control assembly from the instrument panel.
- Disconnect the vacuum harness connector from the HVAC control assembly.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors from the HVAC control assembly.
