2004 Oldsmobile Bravada AWDSECTION Installation Procedure

Important: Do not reuse the old gasket if it is damaged, replaced it. Do not use any type of sealer in place of the gasket.
- Install the new transfer case adapter seal.
- Install the transfer adapter.NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
- Install the transfer case adapter mounting bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the transfer case adapter mounting bolts to 550 N.m (40 lb ft).
- Install a new gasket the transfer case gasket.
- Install the transfer case assembly. Refer to TRANSFER CASE ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT .
