2004 Oldsmobile Bravada AWDSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the engine mount bracket to the engine mount.
  2. Install the engine mount upper nuts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the engine mount upper nuts to 53 N.m (39 lb ft).

  3. Use a utility stand in order to lower the engine.

  4. Install the engine mount bracket to the oil pan.
  5. Install the engine mount bracket-to-oil pan bolts.

    Tighten 

    • Tighten the engine mount bracket to oil pan bolts (1) to 58 N.m (43 lb ft).
    • Tighten the upper bracket to engine block bolt (2) to 85 N.m (63 lb ft).
  6. Install the right engine splash shield. Refer to SPLASH SHIELD REPLACEMENT -- ENGINE .
  7. Install the right front wheel and tire.
  8. Connect the catalytic converter pipe to the engine right side exhaust manifold.
  9. Lower the vehicle.

  10. Install the engine mount struts. Refer to ENGINE MOUNT STRUT REPLACEMENT - LEFT  and ENGINE MOUNT STRUT REPLACEMENT - RIGHT  .
  11. Install the throttle body air inlet duct.
