WARNING:
- Handling the front buckle (pre-tensioner front buckle) improperly can accidentally deploy the pretensioner, which may seriously injure you. Read the service warnings and cautions before handling the front buckle. (See SPECIAL CARE DURING MECHANICAL REPAIRS .) (See AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS .)
- Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
- Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait for 1 min or more.
- Remove the front seat. (See FRONT SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Detach the tab as shown in the figure and remove the connector from the seat connector.
- Remove in the order indicated.
