Engine Disassembly/Assembly

2004 Oldsmobile Bravada AWDSECTION Engine Disassembly/Assembly

  1. Disconnect the engine and transaxle. (See MANUAL TRANSAXLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .) (See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  2. Remove the following parts:
    1. Intake-air system. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [LF] .) (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3] .)
    2. Generator. (See GENERATOR .)
    3. Ignition coils. (See IGNITION COIL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    4. Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor. (See CRANKSHAFT POSITION (CKP) SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly.
