The Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor responds to pressure changes in the intake manifold. The pressure changes occur based on the engine load. The MAP sensor has the following circuits:
- 5-volt reference circuit.
- Low reference circuit.
- MAP sensor signal circuit.
