- Remove the sliding side door lower trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Sliding Door Lower .
- Remove the lock rods from the sliding side door control assembly.
- Remove the bolts (4) that retain the sliding side door control assembly to the sliding side door.
- Remove the sliding side door control assembly (3) from the sliding side door.
- Remove the sliding side door control assembly (3) from the vehicle.
