2004 Oldsmobile Bravada AWDSECTION Installation Procedure

Important: Make sure the O-ring is seated in the O-ring groove.
- Install the O-ring seal (1) to the steering gear.
- Install the steering gear motor (2) to the vehicle.
- Install the bolts (1) retaining the steering gear motor (2) to the steering gear. Tighten the 6 mm (0.24 in) steering gear motor retaining bolts to 10 N.m (89 in lbs). Tighten the 4 mm (0.16 in) steering gear motor retaining bolts to 4 N.m (35 in lbs).
Important: Route the wiring harness in the same location as the wiring was removed.
- Connect the electrical connectors to the control module (2).
- Connect the electrical connector (1) to the rear position sensor.
- Connect the wire harness retaining clips.
- Install the spare tire to the vehicle.
- Lower the vehicle.
