Intake Manifold (Unit Repair) Removal: Removal

2004 Oldsmobile Bravada AWDSECTION Removal

  1. Remove throttle body.

  2. Remove fuel pipe and bracket. Remove fuel rail assembly.
  3. Remove electrical harness from intake manifold.
  4. Remove knock sensor.

  5. Remove intake manifold retaining nuts and bolts.
  6. Remove intake manifold.
  7. Remove intake manifold gasket. The gasket is reusable if it is not damaged.
  8. If intake manifold needs to be replaced, transfer the following parts:
  • Throttle body
  • Throttle body gasket. The manifold to throttle body gasket is reusable if it is not damaged.
