2004 Oldsmobile Bravada AWDSECTION Removal

IMPORTANT: It is not necessary to orientate the flywheel to the crankshaft. It is balanced separately from the engine.
- Remove flywheel attaching bolts. Use Flywheel Holding Tool J43653 to prevent crankshaft rotation.
- Remove flywheel, if vehicle is equipped with a manual transaxle.
- Remove flywheel retainer and flywheel for vehicles equipped with automatic transaxle.
- Clean thread adhesive from flywheel bolts. Use a-nylon bristle brush to clean bolt holes in crankshaft.
